Export only the drawing pages recipients need
Leave the page field empty to export the complete drawing, or use a range such as 1-3, 5. The same range is applied independently to every ODG file in a batch, so confirm that the selected page numbers exist in each source.
For unrelated page selections across files, process separate batches so every range remains intentional.
Match image quality to the delivery
The profile primarily affects embedded raster images. It does not intentionally rasterize supported vector geometry. Choose the lowest profile that still passes visual review for the actual use case.
| Profile | Image behavior | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Lossless | Original resolution; lossless image compression | Print masters, detailed diagrams and archival review |
| Balanced | High-quality compression; images capped at 300 DPI | General professional sharing and printing |
| Compact | Stronger compression; images capped at 150 DPI | Screen review, email and constrained delivery |
Review batch results independently
One failed source should not invalidate successful conversions. Preview each completed PDF, retry only failed items and download accepted files individually or as the completed batch.
Compare output size only after visual acceptance. A smaller file is not an improvement if labels, textures or imported artwork become visibly degraded.
- Check the first and last exported page.
- Zoom into the most detailed raster image.
- Confirm page count against the selected range.
- Keep lossless output when future printing requirements are unknown.
Put the workflow into practice
Arrange source documents, select the pages you need, and create one PDF locally in your browser. Review the result before choosing any optional next step.

Clear answers before you merge
What does Lossless change?
It requests lossless image compression and avoids reducing embedded-image resolution.
Does Compact rasterize vector artwork?
The profile targets embedded images; supported vector drawing objects remain handled by the PDF export filter.
Can I use 1-3, 5 as a range?
Yes. Comma-separated pages and ascending ranges are supported.
What happens if a page does not exist?
LibreOffice controls the final range behavior, so preview and verify the output page count for every file.
