Map covers, chapters and appendices first
Identify stable anchor pages before moving anything: the cover, contents, chapter openers, appendices and final page. These anchors make it easier to detect missing or repeated material.
Use the large preview to confirm anchors that look similar in thumbnail form.
Use ranges and group movement
Select an inclusive range to move a complete chapter as one unit. Odd-then-even and even-then-odd presets can repair common scanner sequences when their assumptions match the source.
Do not use a bulk preset without reviewing the first few resulting page pairs. Scanner feeders and inserted sheets can break an otherwise regular pattern.
Keep changes reversible
Undo and redo protect against accidental drops and overly broad page rules. Reset to source order when the intended result becomes difficult to explain.
A clear change count is useful, but visual sequence review remains more important than the number of edits.
Render thumbnails progressively
A large PDF can contain hundreds of image-heavy pages. Rendering only visible thumbnail batches keeps the workspace responsive while page-order data remains complete.
Load more previews or jump directly to a page when visual confirmation is needed.
Put the workflow into practice
Arrange source documents, select the pages you need, and create one PDF locally in your browser. Review the result before choosing any optional next step.

Can the organizer handle hundreds of pages?
Yes. It keeps the complete order while loading thumbnail previews progressively.
What does odd then even do?
It places source positions 1, 3, 5 and so on before positions 2, 4, 6 and so on.
Can I undo a page move?
Yes. The studio includes undo, redo and restore-source-order controls.
Are printed page numbers used?
No. Rules use PDF positions shown by the organizer.
