About PDF overlays
The base PDF keeps its page sequence while selected overlay pages are drawn above targeted base pages. This is useful for applying stationery, reviewed stamps, translated labels or design frames.
Mapping determines which overlay page is used. Reuse the first page for a universal layer, match corresponding pages for page-specific designs, or cycle through a repeating overlay set.
Opacity, placement and scaling affect readability. Always inspect the preview and generated output, especially when base and overlay page sizes differ.
