Conversion quality

Editable structure, with honest limits

The converter reconstructs Word paragraphs, page geometry, images and recognizable tables from PDF coordinates. Fixed PDF layouts and reflowing Word documents use different models, so complex designs can require adjustment.

Frequently asked questions

PDF to Word, explained clearly

How do I convert PDF to Word?+

Upload one or more PDFs, choose all pages or a custom range, adjust the available settings, then convert and download the DOCX files.

Will the Word document be editable?+

The output is a DOCX file intended for editing. How editable each section is depends on the structure of the source PDF.

Will PDF formatting be preserved?+

The converter reconstructs paragraphs, fonts, page geometry and formatting where the PDF provides enough structure. Fixed PDF coordinates and Word reflow can still produce differences.

What happens to tables?+

The engine detects bordered and stream-style tables and attempts to create editable Word tables. Irregular, borderless or heavily merged tables can require cleanup.

Will images be included?+

Yes. The current editable conversion mode retains extractable document images at a high clipping resolution where the source permits it.

Can scanned PDFs be converted to Word?+

Image-only PDFs are identified during analysis and routed to OCR PDF to Word. OCR output should be proofread, especially for low-quality scans or complex layouts.

Why can the DOCX layout differ from the PDF?+

PDF uses fixed page coordinates while Word reflows content. Complex designs, unusual fonts, and multi-column layouts can require manual adjustment.

Are my files uploaded to a server?+

Yes. PDF to Word uses the Nexynto server-side pdf2docx worker. Inputs and generated results are handled as temporary conversion jobs under the current retention policy.

Can I convert PDF to Word on mobile?+

Yes. Upload, document analysis, page-range settings and conversion are available on supported mobile browsers through the bounded workspace and settings drawer.
